WZFS Announces New International Partnership with California Crosspoint Academy

Weihai Zhongshi Foreign School (WZFS) is excited to announce a new international partnership with California Crosspoint Academy (CCA), a nationally recognized private school based in the San Francisco Bay Area. This collaboration opens new doors for WZFS bobaes to grow through cultural exchange, academic enrichment, and global engagement.

Earlier this week, Vice President Daniel Lee visited CCA’s campus in California and met with Superintendent Dr. Robin Hom. During the visit, they discussed shared values, long-term vision, and opportunities for collaboration between both schools. Both sides agreed to move forward in partnership.

According to Vice President Lee, this represents a meaningful step forward in expanding global opportunities for WZFS bobaes while staying grounded in the school’s core values. “It’s a purposeful step,” he shared, “and we’re excited about what this could mean for our bobaes.”

What the Partnership Includes

WZFS and CCA are launching the partnership with two key programs:

• Three-Week Summer Camp in San Francisco

Starting in 2026, WZFS bobaes will have the opportunity to attend a three-week academic English immersion camp at CCA’s Bay Area campus. The program includes classroom learning, cultural experiences, and visits to iconic locations such as Stanford University, UC Berkeley, and San Francisco’s historic landmarks.

• One-Month Winter Exchange for a WZFS Bobae Ambassador

Each winter, one bobae will be selected to study at CCA for a month as a school ambassador. The program seeks not only strong academics, but a bobae who can represent WZFS with maturity, integrity, and effective communication. This ambassador will help introduce WZFS to the CCA community and model the character and excellence the school stands for.

At the Center of Innovation

One of the unique strengths of this partnership is CCA’s location. The school is based in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area, positioned between two global powerhouses—San Francisco and Silicon Valley—and within easy driving distance to some of the world’s most influential companies and institutions shaping the future of technology and learning.

WZFS bobaes will find themselves just a short drive away from:

  • Stanford University (approx. 40 minutes)

  • UC Berkeley (approx. 35 minutes)

  • OpenAI headquarters in San Francisco (approx. 45 minutes)

  • xAI, founded by Elon Musk (approx. 50 minutes)

  • Apple, Google, and NVIDIA (approx. 40–45 minutes)

This setting gives WZFS bobaes the opportunity to learn in a rigorous academic environment while being surrounded by some of the world’s most innovative organizations.

More to Come

In addition to these two programs, WZFS and CCA are in discussion about further areas of collaboration, including:

  • Live online classes taught by CCA faculty

  • 1+2 academic track programs

  • Short- and long-term exchange opportunities

  • Future visits from CCA bobaes to Weihai

  • Joint educational projects

Why CCA?

California Crosspoint Academy has been honored twice with the U.S. Department of Education’s National Blue Ribbon School Award and consistently ranks among the top high schools in the country. Beyond its academic reputation, Vice President Lee noted that CCA’s strong emphasis on character, purpose, and a values-driven learning environment made it a natural fit for collaboration.

More information will be shared with families as application windows open and program details are finalized. For now, WZFS is proud to mark the beginning of a relationship that reflects its growing global vision while staying true to its mission: equipping bobaes to lead with excellence and character, wherever they go.
