Today, WZFS hosted an Education With Parents (EWP) seminar, bringing together parents of our students for an inspiring session on personal growth and emotional well-being. Our guest speaker, Coach Jin Chung, shared valuable insights, drawing on his extensive experience in personal development and family dynamics. Known for his compassionate approach, Coach Chung focuses on helping individuals and families cultivate emotional resilience, empathy, and self-awareness.

This semester, we are excited to launch Operation Pen Pal at WZIS! As part of this initiative, 16 of our primary bobaes will have the unique opportunity to connect with penpals from different parts of the globe. Our students will exchange letters with children from Mexico, the USA, and Germany, creating an exciting cultural exchange that will expand their horizons and introduce them to new perspectives.

At Weihai Zhongshi International School (WZIS), we hold both academic achievement and character development in the highest regard. Our assemblies and ceremonies are not only a platform to celebrate academic excellence but also an opportunity to recognize students—our “bobaes”—who embody our core values: Responsibility, Respect, Wisdom, Self-Expression, and Holistic Education. Throughout the year, faculty and staff nominate students who consistently demonstrate these values. Those honored are awarded certificates and enjoy a free smoothie from our popular school café—a small but meaningful gesture of appreciation for their efforts.

As we come together to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, known as Chuseok in Korea, we wish all our WZIS families a time of joy, reflection, and togetherness. Whether you're enjoying mooncakes under the full moon or sharing a traditional meal with loved ones, this holiday is a wonderful reminder of the importance of family and gratitude.

It’s another productive Thursday here at WZIS, and the students are in full swing, moving from one class to the next with the usual mix of focus and enthusiasm. Whether it’s math, science, or English, today’s classes are keeping everyone on their toes, but you can feel a growing sense of excitement in the air as we approach a much-anticipated long weekend.

Yesterday, our middle school students at Weihai Zhongshi International School (WZIS) experienced an exciting day as we launched a series of new student clubs. These clubs, including Cooking, Arts and Crafts, Board Games, Music, and Band, were designed to give students the opportunity to explore new interests and skills while having fun with their classmates.

Today at WZIS, we celebrated Appreciation Day with an outpouring of gratitude from our wonderful parents and students. From heartfelt messages to thoughtful gestures, the WZIS community came together to show appreciation for the dedication of our teachers and staff. We are deeply moved and grateful for the support that inspires us to continue providing the best for our students.
