Strengthening Global Perspectives at WZIS
On May 6, we had the privilege of welcoming Consul General Ryu Chang-su to speak at our school, sharing insights into Korea–China relations and the broader role of diplomacy in today’s world. His message underscored the importance of mutual respect, cooperation, and cultural understanding—values that resonate deeply with our mission at WZIS.
As a school that sits at the intersection of diverse cultures, we recognize the significance of fostering global citizenship among our bobaes. The Consul General highlighted the evolving economic and cultural ties between Korea and China, as well as the opportunities and challenges that arise from globalization. These themes remind us of the importance of equipping our bobaes with not only academic excellence but also empathy, character, and an international mindset.
We remain committed to creating meaningful spaces where bobaes can engage with the world beyond the classroom—whether through language learning, cross-cultural exchanges, or real-world discussions like the one we experienced this week. We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of these important conversations and look forward to continuing our journey of learning and global engagement together.
